Baltica

Baltica is a striking new sound bank for the Modal Electronic’s Cobalt8 synthesizer. With a focus on deep and powerful timbres, Baltica delivers an abundance of rich analog textures, retro keys, fat basses and roughed up leads, all with the trademark “Modal” sound.

From the dreamy intro “Baltica”, things get down and dirty with “Cobalt Crunch”, a smashed up lead with an attitude problem. Pulsating textures up the pace with “Feizar Two” & “Forcefields” before dystopian futures collide with “Rainbow Dust”.  There’s also a nod to my own misspend youth with “Raveslave” and “Suckapunch”, a hoover par excellence! In addition, it wouldn’t be a Soundsauca bank without a healthy dose of epic pads and atmospheres (“Cobalt Coast”/”Ironsaws”).

65 sounds are featured in the demo, but there’s 100 patches to enjoy in the sound bank.

Yes, it’s freebie time again! I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I’d love to give all my stuff away, but I’m trying to balance that urge with earning a crust along the way.
